Nemec & Heideman Awards

Do you know an outstanding teacher, administrator, or other K-12 school professional?  Someone whose lifelong dedication to public service reflects the ideals of the School of Education?  If you do, and if the person is a UW–Madison School of Education graduate in elementary or secondary education, consider nominating him or her for a special School of Education alumni award.

The School honors outstanding school professionals with two alumni awards:

  • Robert and Carroll Heideman Secondary Education Alumni Award

All award selections are made by committees of School of Education faculty and staff. Awards will be presented Thursday, November 17, 2011, at a special program during American Education Week at the Education Building.

Current faculty and staff of UW–Madison are not eligible for alumni awards.
