School of Education Alumni AwardsAbout the AwardsDo you know an outstanding teacher, professor, school counselor, or administrator? An occupational therapist who has shown significant achievement? An artist or dancer who has had a great career? Someone whose lifelong dedication to public service reflects the ideals of the School of Education? If you do, and if the person is a UW-Madison School of Education graduate or certificate recipient, you should consider nominating him or her for a School of Education alumni award. There are two types of awards:
Alumni Achievement AwardThe Alumni Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed
by the School of Education, recognizes a career of extraordinary accomplishment. Recipients are selected based on one of the following criteria: 1) significant contributions
to one's chosen field and an exemplary record of professional
leadership, or 2) outstanding service to one's community and/or UW-Madison that reflects the commitment to public service for which the School of Education is known. The nominee must have received a degree
or certificate from a program within the School of Education. |
