Three hundred and eight-six alumni and friends celebrated Homecoming 2009 with the School of Education at the Engineering Centers Building on campus.

September 15, 2009

May 5-9, 2009
Formerly a university warehouse, the Art Lofts celebrated the grand opening, housing the Art Department’s glass lab, metal sculpture foundry, ceramics and papermaking areas, along with studio spaces for more than 60 faculty and graduate students, and public spaces for the display of student and faculty artwork. During the week of the opening celebration, over 300 guests visited the lofts.

Returning to celebrate the opening of the Art Lofts were distinguished Art alumni Marvin Lipofsky, Alumni Award winner, David Dahlquist, and the family of Harvey Littleton. The Littleton Family presented a talk on Harvey Littleton and a video from Dale Chihuly was shown.

Art faculty and graduate students showed their artwork and several demonstrations took place over the course of the 4 day celebration.
