Parking:
Summer 2009: Beginning May 28, the parking beneath Helen C. White Hall will be closed for renovation. Lake Street Ramp (see below) is the closest public parking.
Parking is available at meters in the Upper Parking area beneath Helen
C. White Hall. Cost: $1.25 per hour. Meters are not always available.
You can request a permit for this lot in advance of your visit by contacting
UW-Madison Special Events Parking at 608-262-8683 and inquiring
about
parking for Lot 6 beneath Helen C. White Hall. (Allow at least two weeks.)
The closest city ramp is the State Street Ramp, located on Lake Street
between University
Avenue and State Street. The walk to the CCBC is between two and three
blocks.

Finding the CCBC in Helen C. White Hall:When you get to Helen C. White Hall, you will want to enter the doors to left of the main College Library entrance. (The CCBC is not part of College Library.) Take the elevator or the stairs to the fourth floor. (If you park beneath the building, the elevator or stairs from the parking area lead to this part of the building.) If you take the elevator, head straight down the hall when you get off. The CCBC's orange banner will be visible welcoming you!
