Presentations
. Our presentations with children tend to be interactive, ranging from phonics activities with very young children, to topics such as revisions, editing, and the publishing process with older children. In all cases, we use examples from our books to make the presentation more meaningful. We frequently customize our presentations to the age of the audience. . Target audience: Preschool through elementary.

. Parent and educator presentations are also customized and address child development factors related to reading as well as strategies for working with early readers. Target audience: Parents and/or educators.

Fees
$500 per half day, plus travel expenses.

Additional Comments
Kathryn and Deborah are co-authors, currently writing mostly for early elementary aged children. Since the authors are full-time educators, their availability for author visits during the school year is extremely limited at this time. They would be more readily available for summer library visits.
