What Does an Author Do? Includes a performance of my book, Oh, Crumps!/Ay, Caramba!; presentation on the writing process which includes character development, dialogue and storytelling elements. Target audience: Children -- Grades K-6.
So, You Want to Write a Children's Book. A one or two session workshop for adults interested in writing for children. Includes examination of current trends, award-winning books, a bit about book reviews, and basics for submitting work to a prospective publisher. Target audience: Adults.

Books and children have defined my adult life. I have been a librarian (public and school) for 25 years, a book reviewer for School Library Journal for over 20 years, and a storyteller and puppeteer for decades.
