Wisconsin Connection
I was born, raised and lived in Madison (from 1916-1941). I attended UW-Madison 1934-1938, and 1939-1940. (For 40 years I lived in the Washington D.C. area.) I returned to Madison after retirement, and now live in Middleton.

Awards / Distinctions
State Historical Society of Wisconsin award and recognition to Historic Madison, Inc. for publishing. for Hallie Lou's Scrapbook, 1997

Presentations
Informal presentation. I have done a number of talks in individual classrooms or at assemblies in elementary schools in the Madison area. Pleaes be aware I am in my 80s and no longer drive a car. Transportation must be provided. Target audience: Grades K-5.

Additional Comments
I have a B.A. in political science and did one year of grduate work in political science and social work. After retirement, I attended a senior writing class, initially sponsored by Creative Arts Over 60.
