Presentations
. Elementary School Level (K-5) presentation includes a book reading, powerpoint presentation, computer enhanced art demonstration, and many fun surprises! I have been performing school presentations with my mother (Lorna Balian) since my early childhood. As she no longer makes these presentations, I have picked up where Lorna Balian has left off by taking her life's work to a new generation of readers. My presentation covers a broad spectrum of Balian books, and demonstrates how illustrating children's books has changed over the decades. I love how computer technology has opened illustrating into new worlds of possibility, and truly enjoy sharing my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with children. .

Fees
$500 per day, (up to three presentations) plus travel expenses and lodging if necessary. References available upon request. :)

Additional Comments
As a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, my illustrations reflect my love for Wisconsin's natural beauty as much as possible. I literally grew up watching my mother, Lorna Balian, illustrate children's books. Following in her footsteps is an honor that brings me great joy. I attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, however, most everything I know about art and design I learned from my parents and my children.
