Wisconsin Connection
I have been a Wisconsin resident since 1972 residing in Oconto and now in Trempealeau. In the 1950s I taught in Madison while my husband attended UW Madison.

Presentations
"Using Drama to Learn Little Known Historical Facts". The author dresses as a character from one of her juvenile historical novels about the Great Peshtigo Wisconsin Fire of 1871. Target audience: Elementary and middle school students Church groups.

"How to Plan for and experience Isle Royale National Park" .  The author demonstrates skills and equipment necessary to enjoy a multi-day hike in one of our nation's most prestine wilderness areas. Target audience: Middle school students Scout troops and leaders.

My interest in Wisconsin history spans several decades. I am active in the Oconto County Historical Society and the Trempealeau Community Heritage Society
