Wisconsin Connection
I attended the UW-Milwaukee and graduated from UW-Madison in 1976 with a BA in History and in 1980 with a BS in Education. I grew up in Menomonee Falls.

Presentations
What Did You Do Last Summer, or rather Where Did You Do It? I use a sense of place to inspire kids to write. . Target audience: Fourth-fifth grade.

Fur Trade Demonstration with Hands-On Items. . I have been a docent at the WI Historical Museum since 1986, where I have given many fur trade tours. Time of the Eagle can be tied in nicely with study of the fur trade. Target audience: Fourth-fifth grade.

Other topics are available: re-writing, character developement, and using art with very young children. I can tailor my program to your needs. Target audience: K-8 grade.

Fees
$100 for a one hour session. $375 for a full day (four sessions) plus transportation(.32 per mile) and lodging if necessary.

Additional Comments
I have been living in Madison since 1975. I am passionate about history and writing and enjoy sharing my love of both with children.
