Additional Comments
I earned a BA degree in Creative Writing/Literature from the University of Central Florida. Before writing for children, I wrote and published short fiction for adults which appeared in various literary magazines and newspaper magazine sections. I wrote and illustrated THE BOY WHO LOVED TO SHIM-SHAM SHIMMY (published in 2005), as well as THE RESCUE OF MR. GOLDSMITH, first in the "Birds of a Feather" series of proverbial fables for kids (due out September, 2006). I currently work as a quiz writer for Renaissance Learning (Accelerated Reader) in Wisconsin Rapids.
