Presentations
ABCs of Nature. Jann Kalscheur and I do presentations based on our book ABCs Naturally and tailored to the age level of our audience. For kindergarten through 2nd graders, we read some of the poems, show natural props shaped like letters of the alphabet, and do alphabet searches using photo hand-outs and a PowerPoint presentation. For 3rd-5th graders, we read a few poems and then use a PowerPoint presentation to discuss the writing, photography, and publishing processes. When possible, we also like to take kids on an outdoor alphabet hunt with cameras. Target audience: K-5.
Fees
Our presentation fee is $275 for a half day and $400 for a full day plus travel expenses. We also ask that the book be offered for sale. Our fee is negotiable.
