I've lived in Wisconsin since 1993, and I teach writing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Presentations
. Writing workshops with fourth and fifth graders. Target audience: Elementary School.

. Writing workshops with middle and high schoolers: fiction and nonfiction. Target audience: Middle and high school.

. Insights into the writing and publishing process, including reading from my work and conducting small group discussions. Target audience: Elementary school Middle and high school.

Fees
$600-$850 per day, depending on distance traveled and length of program (e.g., one or two days). Travel fees are included in this, unless the program is out-of-state.

Additional Comments
I enjoy working with kids of all ages because my emphasis is on creative writing and having fun. Also, I've written picture books and, recently, a young adult book. But if I work with middle or high school students, I insist on small, intensive workshops with highly motivated young writers.
