The CCBC's Wisconsin
Collection contains
books published for children and young adults that were written or illustrated
by current or former Wisconsin residents. Over the years, the CCBC has
developed an extensive array of resources about Wisconsin
book creators, including our online Directory
of Wisconsin Children's Book Creators, to aid teachers, librarians
and others looking for authors and illustrators to speak to children and
teenagers.
Publications
Annual Identification RecordsSince 1978, the CCBC has created annual identification records of books for children and young adults written, illustrated, translated and/or compiled by current and former Wisconsin residents. Beginning with the 1980 Identification Records, this annual listing indicates each designated Wisconsin book creators' connections to the state and include annotations for all titles. Earlier Identification Records designate Wisconsin connections only. The CCBC has single file copies of these annual Identification Records.
