Books for Children and Young Adults
There are thousands of new books published for children and young adults
each year, and tens of thousands available through public and school
libraries, or for
purchase at bookstores, at any given time. The
CCBC helps librarians, teachers, child care providers and others
navigate the abundance of choices to locate the best books possible
to meet their needs. Be sure to check out the many other resources in our Links section. And check out our database of CCBC-recommended books--you can start with the Quick Search box at the top of this page.!

Spend some time exploring the Links section of our web site, including:-
Annual
Awards and Best-of-the-Year lists: these highlight
the outstanding books published each year
from a broad range of perspectives
-
Books and Reading:
these web sites offer reviews and recommendations of books, including
peer reviews for children and teens

them create their own annual best-of-the-year
