Book Sales
Twice a year, in the fall and spring, the Friends of the CCBC hold book sales. Gently used books withdrawn from the CCBC's Current Collection , and older titles that have been weeded from other CCBC collections, are sold. All proceeds support the work of the CCBC and related activities.
The next Friends
of the CCBC Book Sale will be held on Saturday,
March 8, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m in Room
4207 Helen C. White Hall, 600 N. Park Street on the UW-Madison
campus. (This is the same building in which the CCBC is located.)
The sale will feature hundreds of new and gently used children's
and young adult books, including hardcover trade, formula nonfiction,
paperback reprints, and more.
Books are $2.00 (paperback) and $4.00
(hardcover). Members of the Friends of the CCBC pay $1.00 (paperback)
and $3.00 (hardcover). Anyone can become a member of the Friends at
the door and receive the discount.
Cash, checks, or institutional purchase
orders (please bring
tax exempt number) are welcome.
