Let me start by saying that I am incredibly excited to be a College for Kids facilitator this summer and am looking forward to meeting everyone. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in science. Since graduating I have been teaching 5th grade at Lincoln Elementary here in Madison. I absolutely love the great outdoors and science in general (as you may have guessed from my minor). Entomology, biology, geology, and zoology happen to be some of my favorite areas of exploration. In my spare time I enjoy reading a good book, hiking just about anywhere, hanging out with my pets (Wrangler the horse and Willow the golden retriever) and camping with my family and friends.
