Hello, my name is Mark Asleson. I am the owner of Asleson’s Hardware Inc and I am very excited to be a facilitator this summer with the College for Kids program. I work with high school kids in the job place and at some of the activities at Stoughton high school. I have worked with children of all ages since my daughters have been active in activities such as tumbling, dance, swimming, and soccer. I enjoy teaching and working with kids. Their minds are open and full of ideas at this age, they know no boundaries, and the ideas that I often hear are starting points for different ways to see and look at things. I have worked in many fields since childhood from farming to welding at Stoughton Tailors. I have built homes and done everything that there is to go into building, excavating, tree harvesting, and conservation. I like to be outdoors in any weather and enjoy everything that life can throw at me. The kids and I go snowmobiling, four wheeling, and hiking around where we live. We like camping and horseback riding, canoeing and tubing. We are always adding on to our tree fort which is now about twenty feet long with two different levels and a zip line.
