My name is Emily Loew and I just finished serving as an AmeriCorps*VISTA with the center for Biology Education here at UW-Madison. I graduated from the UW in May 2008 with Bachelors’ in Zoology and Biological Aspects of Conservation. I love to pretty much do anything outdoors and/or with animals. I volunteer at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center near the Humane Society. Play ultimate Frisbee and volleyball, and I love to run. I have two younger sisters – Megan (20) and Sarah (15) and my parents live in my hometown of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
