My name is Wei-Chiao Hsu. I'm from Taiwan. I'm a second year master student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I've been working as an intern guidance counselor at Cherokee Middle School. I had the experience working with middle school artistic gifted students when I was in Taiwan, coordinating workshops and conferences, planning field trips, and organizing exhibitions for them. I don't have family here in the U.S., but I have made a lot of friends who are always happy to show me American culture. I have had some unique experiences such as going ice-fishing and snowmobile-riding. My hobbies are traveling and exploring new things; reading and watching movies; hiking and exposing myself to the nature. I am excited about being involved in College for Kids. I always learn fascinating ideas from gifted children and inspired by their creativity. I am also confident that I will be able to offer any forms of support for them, and have fun with them throughout the summer!
