Group 18: Sarah Pipho  

My name is Sarah Pipho and I am a recent graduate of UW-Madison with a degree in Secondary English Education. I am originally from Green Lake, Wisconsin, a small town about an hour northeast of Madison. The actual lake is the deepest lake in Wisconsin (and yes, it really is green). I have lived in Madison for almost five years and enjoy taking advantage of community events, including the Farmer’s Market and Concerts on the Square. Over the past two years, much of my time has been spent working and student teaching in area schools, including Wright Middle School, Black Hawk Middle School, and Shabazz City High School. When I am not teaching, I enjoy biking around Madison, knitting, scrapbooking, and trying new foods at different restaurants. I am interested in being involved in College for Kids because I love working with students - they teach me new things, make me laugh, and keep me on my toes! I am excited about the various workshops being offered and cannot wait to join students in making discoveries and having fun.
