Group 09: Chandu Vemuri  

Hi, I am Chandu Vemuri and I am from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. I was born in India but grew up in Chicago and received both my Bachelor's Degree and Law Degree from Loyola University of Chicago. I practiced for five years in Chicago. I became a stay at home Mom after the birth of my first child Lakshmi who is participating this year in the College for Kids program. I have been working for the Sun Prairie School District at C.H. Bird Elementary for the past 4 years in the front office. My younger daughter Sandhya was diagnosed with Autism when she was three and sparked my career change. Politics is my passion and my other interests include reading and travel. I am so excited to be facilitating a group for the first time this year!
