Illuminated Manuscripts of Greek Mythology An illuminated manuscript is text decorated with illustrations and elaborate borders. In traditional forms, illuminated manuscripts were decorated with gold or silver. In this workshop, we will create illustrated manuscripts of two fables from Greek mythology, with attention to illustration of the main character, and decorative elements that surround the text. Just as in the ancient illustrated manuscripts, we too will use silver and gold colors in our work, offset with black! Workshop Leader(s): Kalpana Prakash
