Exploring the Nano World: “The Land of the Invisibly Small” Understand what nanotechnology is and how one fabricates such small items. Learn how to measure things that can not be seen by the naked eye. Using this information, students will learn how to create useful devices. Workshop Leader(s): Greta M. Zenner

Philosophy: The Questions, & Why You Should Ask Them Discussion, games, debates, and skits will introduce students to the exciting world of philosophy. Together, we will ask difficult questions, and struggle to find our own answers. Though questions will likely remain unanswered, we will have learned why the questions themselves are important, and we will have engaged in a constructive, respectful, intellectual enterprise… while having a great time!
