Admissions
The first cohort group of students in the program began in the Fall 2007 semester. Applications for admission for the Fall 2008 semester will be accepted until August 1, 2008.

Applicants should hold a teacher's certificate at the preschool, elementary, or secondary level of teaching in their state or country, although exceptions may be made. To apply for the Masters focusing on Global Studies, Teaching, and the Curriculum, contact Marilyn Fearn of the Curriculum and Instruction Graduate Program, at mfearn@education.wisc.edu, or go directly to the links for application materials on the Curriculum and Instruction website: www.education.wisc.edu/ci/graduate_prog/prospective.asp.
Applicants should list the M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction as their degree goal and, under the Reasons for Graduate Study section, specify “International Studies in Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Teacher Education with an emphasis in Global Studies, Teaching, and the Curriculum.”
The Advanced Program of Studies certificate requires a teacher's certificate and admission to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a university special student. For Fall 2008 admissions, contact Marianne Bloch at mbloch@wisc.edu no later than August 1, 2008.
