"Building on Experience. Reflecting on Practice."

Advanced Studies in Professional Counseling
Advanced Studies in Engaged Pedagogy | Register for Programs of Advanced Studies

The Department of Counseling Psychology currently offers two programs in advanced studies.

The Advanced Studies in Professional  Counseling is a program of study which combines coursework, mentorship, and supervision to enhance professional skills and to better prepare the post-masters counselor for licensure.

The Advanced Studies Program in Engaged Pedagogy is a cluster of courses that supports initial educators and other school-based educators seeking opportunities for reflective, relevant professional growth. The program consists of a series of 6-8 required 3-credit courses. It is expected that this certificate would take two to three years to complete.
