Diversity Dialogues Seminar

The focus of the Diversity Dialogues seminar is on increasing experiences and positive interactions that can enhance participants’ preparation for living and working in a diverse society. This seminar is comprised of three modules: the Self-Awareness Module; the Cultural Exposure Module; and the Action and Implementation Module. Multicultural Competence Seminar

The focus of this seminar is on the application of cultural awareness and knowledge as well as the identification and integration of culturally competent skills in individual work settings. The seminar is comprised of three modules: the Multicultural Training Module; the Skills Module; and the Culturally Competent Assessment Module. Psychosocial Factors of Student Achievement Seminar

The objective of the seminar is to address and develop an understanding of the non-cognitive issues that influence the academic success of today’s youth and contribute to the achievement gap that exists between social groups. The seminar is comprised of three modules: the Introduction to the Psychosocial Factors in Student Achievement Module; the Strategies for Working with Youth Module; and the Case Conceptualization and its Application for Designing Interventions with Individual Students Module. Truancy Seminar

The objective of this series of three 4-week modules is to address and develop an understanding of the non-cognitive issues that influence the educational experience of today's youth and contribute to the achievement gap that exists between social groups. The modules of this seminar include: the Introduction to Truancy Module; the Exemplar School and District-Wide Truancy Initiatives Module; and the Module on Developing a Comprehensive Truancy Intervention Program.
