History, Purpose, and Goals of Social Justice Conference

For the past several years, the University of Wisconsin's Department of Counseling Psychology has sponsored a one and one-half day Social Justice Conference. Nationally-recognized scholars have provided keynote addresses and department students have presented their work. As the department has continued to expand this diversity and social justice emphasis, the department has worked to provide year-long programming under a central theme. This years theme for programming is "Social Science and Social Justice."
