Expecting to graduate?

All Education seniors with 100 or more credits will be sent an email after the term begins giving them instructions on informing the university if their expected graduation and/or commencement will be at the end of the current term. This information must be entered by the student using My UW-Madison at http://my.wisc.edu. Students may, as an alternative to these directions, call or visit the Registrar Customer Service area, 123 Peterson, or call (608) 262-3782 and inform that office of their graduation plans.

NOTE: Students who do NOT indicate their intention to graduate and/or attend commencement will (1) not have their academic record checked for graduation purposes at the Registrar's Office and (2) will not receive commencement information (schedule, attire, etc.).

Students who indicate their intention to graduate may be barred from registering for subsequent semesters. Thus, if you find that you must take additional UW-Madison courses to graduate and cannot register for these courses, contact the Registrar's Office to obtain permission to register for the next semester.

The School of Education routinely hosts a breakfast on the morning of commencement in December and in May. Students and their family and guests are invited to participate. Contact the School of Education Alumni Office (608-262-0054) for more information.
