Informational and Tutor Training Session

 

Tuesday, February 21st 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 23rd 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Room 159, the Wisconsin Idea Room in the Education Building

Learn about the Schools of Hope program, Madison's largest tutoring program.

These sessions focus on training interested tutors to:

  • forge meaningful relationships with their students
  • assist in developing essential academic skills through their tutoring experience
  • understand reasons for the academic achievement gap and ways to combat it
  • help their students further develop their study, organizational, and time management skills
