Friends. Volunteer "Bigs" are matched one on one to a child and meet
weekly with their "Little" to form a friendship and be a role model.
Volunteers go to the child's school each week and there are program

Shabazz is anl alternative public high school that relies heavily on volunteers from the community. Volunteers help give our diverse student community the individualized academic support they need. Students need volunteers during school hours to help them with math, writing, research, organization, poetry, and reading. Tutors are pivotal for students' educational experience, empowering them to develop and pursue their goals.
