Minors for Elementary Education Students

Students must select a minor area of study chosen from a current list of approved subject areas. Minor requirements vary from 22-27 credits, depending on the subject area of interest, and may be chosen in consultation with an advisor in Education Academic Services or the assigned Elementary Education faculty advisor. A minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.75 is required, based on all UW-Madison course work included in the minor. Students must file a minor declaration form at the time they accept admission to an Elementary Education program option.
