Department Staff Barb Lienau is the Department Administrator. Barb's other duties include timetable preparation, enrollment assistance, and student database management. Barb is also a coach with the ISIS (Integrated Student Information System) training program, assisting campus-wide staff users with their training needs. Barb has been with the Department of Educational Psychology since 1984. Contact information:
Kelly Keiner joined Department of Educational Psychology in 2003. Kelly works closely with the lecturers and teaching assistants for our undergraduate courses. In service to our graduate students, Kelly administers the preliminary examination process, serves as commencement coordinator, as well as monitors student annual progress. Some of her other duties include enrollment assistance, student database management, meeting room and equipment reservations, building and office maintenance contact. She also works closely with Human Development Area as their administrative support. Contact information:
Ruth Landes acts as receptionist in the main office of the Department
of Educational Psychology. Her duties are diverse, with the overall objective
of providing assistance to students, campus visitors, faculty and staff.
Some of her responsibilities include clerical and administrative support
of the instructional staff, coordinating the course evaluations program,
facilitating the review of graduate student research involving human subjects,
registration troubleshooting, meeting room and equipment reservations.
The information Ruth has gathered during her many years on campus can
be readily drawn upon as an additional campus resource. Contact information:
Karen O’Connell joined the Department of Educational Psychology in 1979. Her role was to assist the faculty in the School Psychology Program area and to provide support to the graduate students in this very busy APA accredited program. In 2001, Karen’s departmental role was expanded to include faculty and student travel arrangements/reimbursements. In 2005, Karen began working on the timetable production, and in January of 2007 she became the Graduate Admissions Coordinator for the Department. Questions about admissions should be directed to Karen. In addition, she also coordinates the work of the Student Affairs Committee and the department’s Recruitment, Admissions, and Fellowships Committee, which is responsible for planning the orientation for new graduate students and the spring Interview/Visitor’s day for prospective students.

Brooke joined the Department of Educational Psychology in 2008. Her role is to assist the faculty in the Learning Sciences area, provide support to the graduate students and general support for the department.
