Academic Areas of Interest:

Comparative and international education policy, with foci in Education for All and education and: democratization, HIV/AIDS, gender, and orphans and vulnerable children. Regional interests: sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, highly-indebted poor countries (HIPCs).
