Academic Areas of Interest:
Dr. Lee's research focuses on identity formation among Asian American students. She is interested in the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender and class. Most recently she has conducted ethnographic research on first and second-generation Hmong American high school students.
Current and Recent Professional Activities:
Member, Social Justice Action Committee of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
Past president of AERA's Special Interest Group on the Research on the Education of Asian and Pacific Americans.
