Shari Clark to Join ATEP Instructional Staff

The UW-Madison Dept. of Kinesiology is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Shari Clark as an assistant faculty associate in their CAATE accredited athletic training education program. Shari will teach courses in the undergraduate athletic training program and assist the program director as the clinical coordinator. Ms. Clark has a background in exercise science, a Masters degree in health education and extensive athletic training experience. Shari completed her athletic training certification at UW-Madison in 1995 and has worked has an athletic trainer in both the high school and clinical rehabilitation settings for the past 13 years.
ATEP Program Director Andy Winterstein commented, “Shari’s experience in the clinical and rehabilitation setting fits nicely with our instructional needs; that experience combined with her athletic training background and continued participation in care to the secondary school athlete make her an excellent addition to our program“.
Shari is filling a position let vacant by Rebecca Nelson who is pursuing a PA degree at UW-Madison.
