Andrew P. Winterstein will give a talk on Wednesday June 18th titled Harnessing Medical Information Resources this talk is part of the session on Emerging Information Technology Trends for Clinical and Academic Settings.
Geoff Kaplan is a featured speaker during the Johnson and Johnson Symposium on hip injuries. He is speaking Thursday June 19th on Functional and Sport Specific Rehabilitation.
Tim McGuine is presenting a poster titled The Usefulness of the SANE Score to Diagnose Knee Injuries in High School Athletes on Wednesday June 18th from 1pm to 5pm (Authors present 2pm – 3pm). UW physician Dr. Greg Landry is a co-author on this project.
Friend of the program Jill Thein-Nissenbaum is presenting a poster titled The Prevalence of Disordered Eating, Menstrual Dysfunction And Musculoskeletal Injury in Female High School Athletes on Thursday June 19th from 1pm to 5pm (Authors present 2pm – 3pm). UW physician Dr. Kathleen Carr and Tim McGuine PhD ATC are co-authors on this project.
Bryan Heiderscheit PT PhD from the UW-Madison is also on the program Friday 6/20 discussing Biomechanical Considerations: The Role of Eccentric Loading during the hamstring injury session.
