Practice and Experience
Debbie has specialized in neurorehabilitation for the past eleven years. During this time, she assisted with the design and implementation of the tendon transfer program for persons with spinal cord injury at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has also presented locally and nationally about spinal cord injury. Debbie has taught within the University of Wisconsin occupational therapy programs since 2001.

Adolescent and Young Adult Occupations and Therapeutic Interventions
This course is designed to introduce entry-level occupational therapy students to (1) theoretical foundations for occupatinal therapy practice,(2) the development of occupational engagement, (3)conditions that may disrupt occupational roles and (4) assessment and therapeutic intervention processes as related to adolescence and young adulthood.

Level I Fieldwork: Adolescents and Young Adults
This course provides occupational therapy students with a clinical experience involving occupational therapy practice with adolescents and young adults.
