Master of Science for Professional Educators

MSPE is a convenient online Master of Science for Professional Educators degree program offered through the UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON School of Education's Department of Educational Psychology. It integrates courses from three departments in the School of Education – Educational Psychology, Curriculum & Instruction, and Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis, leading to a Master of Science in Educational Psychology degree. In just two years teaching professionals can complete this 24-credit master of science degree in one of the leading Educational Psychology Departments in the U.S. News & World Report rankings.

Applications for the Summer 2010 cohort will be accepted beginning in September, 2009, so it is not too early right now to begin to gather your letter of recommendation and your original transcript and to be thinking about your statement/reason for study.

    Note: During the summers, the MSPE cohort and the instructors are together on the UW-Madison Campus for ten days of collaborative learning over a two-week period, with weekends off. For Summer, 2009, the dates will be July 13-17 and July 20-23. This face-to-face session is preceeded by 4 weeks (June 15 - July 10) of online coursework and followed by two more weeks (July 27 - August 7) of online learning.
