Description:

The School of Education is pleased to offer a new Pre-college program, Movin' Minds! This unique program is a partnership between Olympian runner, Suzy Favor Hamilton and the Pre-college unit in Education Outreach at UW-Madison. Movin' Minds will expose students to two challenging academic areas of their choice while being active and having fun. Each morning, Suzy Favor Hamilton will lead activities that promote healthy bodies and healthy minds for all participants. Then, students will attend two engaging and challenging workshops each day. Please register below!

Workshops and Registration

There are 8 Movin’ Minds courses. Each course consists of 2 workshops that are paired up. You may only sign up for one of the eight pairs of workshops and may not pair up two workshops from two different courses. You will be in a group of 12 students for the entire week, with lots of personal attention from the instructors, facilitators, and Suzy.

All of the pairs of workshops are exciting, challenging, and vibrant, and you will have the opportunity to meet fun people, discover new areas of interest and career options, while learning the best way to keep yourself healthy and happy! Courses are first-come, first-served, so register quickly!
