Independent Learning Courses


Education Independent Learning: Your pace, your place!

• Join us to meet your professional and personal educational needs.

• Our education independent learning (correspondence) courses are asynchronous and you can complete them on your schedule during the course of one year.

• No travel, parking fees, or child care costs.

• Earn university credit as you learn via U.S. Mail, email, or online.

• Work toward an undergraduate degree, professional development benchmark, or take courses for personal reasons.

• Take courses in any order.

• Enroll in a single course or plan to complete a Professional Development Strand.

Independent Learning courses have been grouped into Professional Development Strands. Courses within the Professional Strand have been selected because they include skills and understanding in the Professional Strand subject area. The number of courses to complete is generally three to four and the number of years to complete the Professional Strand is three to four. Completing a Professional Development Strand demonstrates that the student has completed a collection of related courses that center on a particular theme or area of learning.
