Education Building, Art Lofts Projects Underway

The Education Building Renovation and Addition Project:  The Education Building on historic Bascom Hill serves as home of UW-Madison School of Education.  Now, thanks to a generous private gift, this 100-year-old structure is undergoing a renovation and addition to renew historic characteristics and to prepare it to meet the School of Education’s 21st century needs.

The Art Lofts Building Project: The long-sought goal of bringing all areas of the UW-Madison Department of Art into a unified, modern instructional facility is beginning to take shape with development of the Art Lofts – the former University Warehouse near the Kohl Center – into state-of-the-art facilities for most graduate art programs.
