Video from WISCAPE talk, 'Moving the Needle in Wisconsin,' now available

Video from ​Noah Hirschl and Christian Smith's Nov. 17 presentation, ​"Moving the Needle in Wisconsin: High Schools Helping Economically Disadvantaged Students Get to College," which was hosted by the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE), is now available on the WISCAPE YouTube channel.

​Hirschl and Smith shared their ongoing research focused on identifying the common characteristics among high schools that facilitate college attendance, four​-year college attendance, and elite college attendance among economically disadvantaged students.

The event was cosponsored by the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Education Sciences (ITP).

WISCAPE is housed within the School of Education's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis.
