Fiske to retire from Education Outreach and Partnerships (EOP) in April

March 18, 2013

After 23 years of service to the School of Education, Karen Fiske will be retiring from Education Outreach and Partnerships (EOP) this April.

To celebrate her commitment, dedication, and willingness to take on any task beyond her job duties, EOP is planning an Open House on Monday, April 1.  Feel free to stop in at anytime during the day to wish Karen well.  Karen has grown to love and appreciate many of you and would love to be able to say farewell.

Dr. Bob Clasen interviewed Karen 23 years ago at the Country Kitchen, due to limited campus parking, and she started her position as a Program Assistant 1 a few weeks later.  Over the years her position changed to a 2, then a 3, to her current position of University Services Associate 2. Karen has seen School of Education Outreach grow from the Madison Education Extension Program (MEEP) located in the Education Building, to the Office of Education Outreach (OEO) in Lathrop Hall, to Education Outreach and Partnerships (EOP) in the Teacher Education Building.

We will all miss her kind, helpful manner and wish her the very best at this juncture.

Join us at 264 Teacher Education Building, 225 North Mills Street on Monday, April 1 to bid her adieu. If you cannot make it at this time, feel free to call her and wish her the best at: 608-263-5140 or send her an email.
