Since its launch in 2011, the Educational Innovation (EI) Initiative at UW-Madison has sparked the creativity of the university’s faculty and staff to enhance the student learning experience.
This fall, the initiative will again offer the EI Small Grant Program, which supports faculty and staff in their efforts to experiment with new technologies and new ways of learning. The program is modestly funded and plans to award up to 10 grants, with a maximum award of $10,000 per grant.
This year, the program is seeking proposals that focus on implementing and/or enhancing a blended or online course.
The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, Oct. 28.
More information about the program and how to submit a proposal can be found on the EI website. Funding decisions will be made by early December, followed by notifications to all applicants thereafter.
