Kaplan named Honorary Research Fellow in Oxford University's Department of Education

UW-Madison’s David Kaplan was recently named an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Education at the University of Oxford.

Kaplan will be involved in presenting workshops, consulting with students on their research and participating in the national and international large-scale assessment research activities conducted by the Oxford University Center for Educational Assessment (OUCEA).

The OUCEA was established in 2007 for the purposes of creating a center for research and international development work in educational assessment. The center's current director is Professor Jo-Ann Baird. 

Kaplan chairs UW-Madison’s highly regarded Department of Educational Psychology and is a professor of quantitative methods.
