September 07, 2015

UW-Madison’s Noah Weeth Feinstein recently received $1.2 million from the National Science Foundation for the project, “Understanding and Catalyzing Equity-oriented Change in Museums and Science Centers.”

Feinstein is an associate professor with the School of Education’s No. 1-ranked Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and is a researcher with the Wisconsin Center for Education Research.

Feinstein is collaborating with the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Garibay Group to explore how museums and other informal science education organizations create and sustain change in their equity-related norms and practices. Work begins this fall and is expected to conclude in August 2019.
