UW-Madison’s Halverson named associate editor of Journal of the Learning Sciences

UW-Madison’s Erica Halverson received word earlier this month that she had been appointed as a new associate editor of the Journal of the Learning Sciences.

Halverson is an associate professor with the School of Education’s No. 1-ranked Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Halverson’s appointment as an associate editor is for a term of three years, with a possibility for renewal. As an associate editor, Halverson will have responsibility for assigning reviewers, making editorial decisions and shepherding manuscripts to their final disposition. Associate editors, Halverson was informed, play an important role in ensuring not only the quality of manuscripts, but also the fit to the journal and the advancement of the field of the learning sciences.
