February 15, 2016

The Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) will host its annual UW-Madison Education Research Poster Fair on Monday, Feb. 29.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, is a tremendous opportunity to both share and learn about the latest education research happening at UW-Madison, and to meet potential collaborators.

The Education Research Poster Fair, held for the
first time in 2015 (above), returns to the Wisconsin
Institute for Discovery on Monday, Feb. 29.
The event also can provide valuable presentation experience to students, as researchers and graduate students will present posters and explain their work in public.

You are responsible for the design and printing of your poster. Please submit poster applications by Feb. 24. (If you have additional questions, email or call 608-890-3926 or 608-224-9130.)

This year's Education Research Poster Fair will also include a lunchtime lecture from distinguished visiting speaker James Minor, an alumnus of the School of Education who is a deputy assistant secretary with the U.S. Department of Education. Minor, who holds a Ph.D. from the School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, is the deputy assistant secretary for Higher Education Programs in the Office of Postsecondary Education. Minor's talk is part of the Carl A. Grant Scholars Lecture Series.
