SoE Technology Units

Media, Education Resources & Information Technology (MERIT)
    With the establishment of a new name, Media, Education Resources, and Information Technology, [MERIT], the Center for Instructional Materials and Computing [CIMC], Instructional Media Development Center [IMDC] and School of Education Information Technology [SoE IT] have officially merged into one collaborative and comprehensive cluster of service and support for the School of Education. Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) - Technical Services
    Technical Services provides technical support to WCER projects in selection, purchase, and use of computers and emerging technologies, including networks, database design, contract programming and related services. They are dedicated to supporting the academic and research missions of the projects and services units within WCER.
 


SoE Committees and Resources

Information Technology Policy Advisory Committee (ITPAC)
    A committee of SoE faculty and staff members representing their department or unit in discussing technology issues, and advising SoE technology providers of IT needs and concerns.
 
 

School of Education E-Portfolio Portal
    An online resource for SoE students developing electronic teaching portfolios. This service is managed by SoE’s Educational Portfolio and Career Services office.
